DEFINITION

PuraPlas PRP (platelet rich plasma) is a proactive, therapeutic hair rejuvenation system designed to treat hairloss. PuraPlas contains Growth Factors that boost the growth of hair follicles and revitalize the root to grow a thicker head of hair.

The results of PRP can take time. Usually, results can be seen within three to six months. We usually recommend 3-4 sessions to see optimal restoration. However, each person is unique and requires a custom treatment plan designed by our nurse practitioner. Since PuraPlas leverages your own body’s plasma, every treatment is biocompatible, so you won’t have any type of reaction.

THE PROCESS

  1. A small amount of blood is collected

  2. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the different components (red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma)

  3. Once the blood has been separated the plasma (PRP) is extracted from the tube

  4. The PRP is injected into the desired treatment area
